Chatbots have been used by organizations for more than a decade to engage with customers. Yet, many of us have had utterly disappointing experiences with these chatbots, be it because of their configuration complexity or their underwhelming performance and cost to maintain.
According to Gartner only 8% of customers used a chatbot when engaging with a company. Of those, just 25% said they would use that chatbot again in the future.
The first generation of chatbots was based on predefined rules and scenarios which were complex to configure and maintain for organizations. It could only handle simple queries and return standard answers, or plainly stop the conversation if the rules were not followed.
This resulted in a deceptive experience for customers. More importantly, it led organizations to limit chatbot’s use to repetitive and basic tasks.
The recent innovation in the AI landscape with the advent of Large Language Models (LLM) designed to handle complex natural language queries has paved the way for a new era of AI conversational agents. ChatGPT marked the inflexion point – LLMs and Generative AI became publicly recognized as game-changers. AI agents of this second wave enable richer and more personalized discussions. Accordingly, business expectations are changing. Analysts see a 23%+ annual growth of the AI conversational agents market to reach to reach USD15Bn+ by 2030.
Our goal at Autodm AI is to offer the power of this new technology to the organizations which want to better engage, convert and retain their online customers.
Autodm AI leverages Generative AI to build human-like conversational agents in no time at all and without coding. It brings trust to businesses by offering a powerful framework to test, monitor and continuously improve the underlying AI engines. Organizations can add public and private content – for instance for registered users – to their knowledge base. The agents use that information combined with Autodm’s proprietary product layers to qualify website traffic and to accurately guide end users through troves of internal or external content.
As we are gearing towards launch day, we are thrilled to soon share our first release of Autodm AI with the world.
